RETREAT RULES
Retreat participants must be respectful of the pastors, teachers, staff, and their fellow students
i.e. listening when others are speaking, being uplifting in your speech, attending retreat activities on time, actively taking part in discussion and activities, et cetera
Students are not permitted to be alone with anyone of the opposite gender outside of the supervision of another teacher or staff member
Students are prohibited from entering the living area of the opposite gender
Students are expected to clean up after themselves and their peers after the end of any scheduled activity
If a space is deemed insufficiently clean, any time spent cleaning the area will be subtracted from student free time
Students are not permitted to use electronic devices without the supervision of a teacher or staff member
All student cellphones should be collected by their respective churches prior to arriving at the retreat center
All retreat participants are expected to follow quiet hour and lights out regulations
Quiet hours will begin at 11 p.m. Lights Out will be enforced at midnight
Any physical interactions are prohibited
This rule includes interactions made in jest i.e. hitting, slapping, pinching, poking, et cetera
Pranks of any kind are prohibited
Possession and/or use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, illicit substances, or weapons is prohibited without exception
If a student notices that another student has gone missing, is hurt, or is sick, he/she must notify retreat staff immediately.
Any serious or repeated violations of these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the retreat and your parents/guardians will be called to pick you up immediately
dress code
Sleeveless or cropped tops of any kind are not permitted
Sheer clothing of any kind is not permitted
All shorts must extend beyond your fingertips when placed at your sides
Any articles of clothing with explicit or suggestive graphics are not permitted
If you are wearing athletic or spandex pants or shorts (i.e. gym shorts, leggings, yoga pants, etc.), your top must extend past your groin
If you are wearing any other type of pants (i.e. jeans, slacks, etc.), your top must extend past your waist
All students are required to wear a shirt at all times
Students who wish to swim in the pool will be required to wear a non-white shirt over their swimwear
Any student found to be wearing inappropriate clothing will be sent back to his/her room to change
